i love coming home to a surprise package waiting by the door. needless to say, i adore the crap out of this shoe. i love the simplicity of it. just a pair of basic black leather boots (i'm short so the 8.5cm heels give me the additional height i need). also, i've been eyeing this cute little monotone triangle necklace for months! cause of the color, it goes with everything i wear. both of this items are from asos, can't wait to wear them!

DIY Simple& Wearble Summer Festival Cut Out Top

another DIY inspired by grav3yard girl

it is originally a tee shirt, and there is two parts to achieve this simple top. part I turning it from a shirt into a singlet. i learnt this from bunny, a youtuber called grav3yard girl (click here to view the tutorial) & part II. how to shred the back, click here for bunny's tutorial. it is so casual & easy, only took me 15 mins to complete the whole thing.

i'm using some runway trends as inspiration and recreating them into my own everyday outfits. mostly casual outfits, nothing too out there and crazy, cause clearly, we don't  walk around town dressed like supermodels

i discovered a new online shopping site recently, boohoo.com, it has free shipping to australia, so that's a bonus for me. fairly reasonable priced clothes, they are mostly basics stuff with a twist. since i haven't bought anything form there yet, i can't really judge the quality first hand. when i get my next pay, i am definitely buying these 4 items!

Winter Haul: More Thrifting At Savers

thrifted these 3 tops from savers (local thrift store), i've been searching for a warm knit cardigan like this grey one since like forever. if you don't know, red is my favorite color, i have a similar jumper to this one, but i had to buy it anyway, just cause it's red. 

the mascara, i buy them when i have money to spare at the end of each month, just to stock up, in case maybelline decides to stop producing them (esp. colossal & falsies) i don't know what's with me and my obsession with maybelline mascaras?

Polish Bread House

 sam discovered this totally cute polish bakery in dandenong. we had brunch there, a big bowl of soup & freshly baked bread for only $5.00. crazy right? i had the Ukrainian Vegetarian Borscht with Dark Rye Bread ( yup, the red soup, i think the red color comes from beetroot) it was zingy and sour, i absolutely loved it! sam & fel had the Polish Beef Goulash & Walnut Bread. it was ridiculously tasty too, and then... you see us back home, falling asleep to ed sheeran.

My Harry Potter Mini Obsession

i went to the hp exhibition during summer 2011 with my sister & cousins from sydney. like so many of you, i grew up watching hp movies & reading the books. for some weird reason, i suddenly miss it so much. it's pathetic really, i should have moved on by now. so, to get over ANOTHER one of my grieving periods, i decided to make a post about it. blame my samsung shitbox for the blurry pictures

Best Cider Ever: Cheeky Rascal

catching up with my dear friend jenny at a local restaurant & bar. my first time trying strawberry cider and this 'cheeky rascal apple & strawberry cider' is absolutely mind blowing. we bought tickets to maroon 5 in october, so totally stoked! and oh, we are also watching ed sheeran together in exactly #24 days. can't wait!

DIY Embellished Collar

i was surfing on youtube when i discovered her diy collar video about 4 months ago (click on the link to view her video). i'm a dummy when it comes to arts and crafts but i wanted to give it a shot since chriselle made it so very straight forward & simple. i cut out the collars from my dad's old shirts (purple & grey) and the gems (gold & purple) were from some necklaces that i stopped wearing. it was surprisingly easy, only took me 20 minutes to make both of them.

Zombie Night Out

duck risotto for me & chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce for darylene from airstream cafe . it's been 7 years since i last saw her pretty face. i honestly thought it would be awkward if we met up, but we got along so well, it's ridiculous! 

the zombie drink- rum with caramelized passionfruit from coco lounge. you can't see the flames from the passionfruit in this photo though. we were so intrigued by this drink so we got it, but it was quite a let down, it tasted weird and way too bitter
