to celebrate the end of exams

last friday (22.06.12) i had an amazing dinner at giraffe cafe & drinks at queensbury hotel. you're looking at photos from that night, some taken by angela, manso & martin. i had pumpkin arancini balls for main (of course with salad, i barely order anything without salad). four of us girls shared two desserts, i must say the passionfruit bread & butter pudding was a winner!

later that night, i caught up with some friends that i haven't seen in eons. i had apple cider for the first time. also, i make a great wing man, the bartender gave my friend his number

her style is classy in general. her street style consist of simple basic pieces, whereas for formal events, she plays up her outfits by wearing eye catching dresses. she is one of the most respectable young hollywood actresses and i can totally see why. i can't wait to watch the amazing spider man.

June Haul: Pink Dresses & Beauty Products

so much pink

hot pink pleated dress & knit dress are both from asos, my 3rd maybelline falsies volum' express mascara,  natio renew radiance eye cream, elizabeth arden makeup remover & l'occitane extra gentle soap

 honestly, there's no differences between the drug store,  garnier 2 in 1 gentle makeup remover & this high street remover. they are both just as good 4/5

a loyal maybelline mascara fan right here! i've tried almost every maybelline mascara on the market. this is still the best by far 4.5/5

only started using this eye cream, so i can't see the result yet. it's slightly shimmery, so i apply it under my concealer, makes my eye pop (just a bit) 3/5

first pink purchase, i don't own anything pink in my wardrobe, i used to be a hater of everything pink but now i'm absolutely obsessed with hot pink color

went thriftting with my beautiful friends felicia & caleb at a local sunday market. it was way too cold to be up that early. found a gorgeous crochet cream top & a sleeveless knit top with a white chiffon hem. only $3.00 each, what a bargain right? pardon the black & white photo, the sunlight ruined it

even though we didn't get the best seats, i'm sure Jenny & i are going to have an absolute ball. i became a fan when i heard his cover of skinny love by Bon Iver. i fell in love his rendition.

i started exploring his other songs, many of them are very well written. if you haven't heard of him yet, do yourself a favor and have a listen to some of his songs. some of my personal favorites are give me love & u.n.i. check out some of his popular songs too (lego house, a-team & drunk)

heartbeat- the fray

it's the fray, they just write good music. that is all.

silly boy- the blue van

totally sold when i heard the intro of the song, you'll always catch me singing along every time i'm driving alone

you really got me- the kinks

a classic. love the power chords, melody is repetitive but it's incredibly catchy 

featherstone- the paper kites

local Aussie band (Melbourne), this song puts me at ease, it's too chill and relaxing, love it

we are young (alvin risk remix)- fun ft janelle monae

hands down to alvin risk, best remix of this song ever

sick love- scanners

another catchy song, gives me an excuse to dance about in my room when i'm getting ready

the king and all of his men (totally enormous extinct dinosaurs remix)- wolf gang

one of the best songs i've heard in a while, loving this remix, although the original is just as brilliant

lonely boy- the black keys

slightly different from the band's original sound, but who cares, it's a freakin good song

came across these jumpers while browsing online yesterday. so in love with the bright yellow jumper (even though yellow is not my colour) despite the basic cut, the knit pattern is very unique. it looks so warm and i really want it! Besides the chunkier knits from sass & bide and minkpink, the other jumpers are versatile due to their light material, i can totally imagine myself wearing them in those cold summer nights, or pairing them on top of my grey ladakh knit top for winter. i am so getting all of these jumpers. #thought of the day# hurry up pay day!

got these pair of babies a while back at a local Sunday market

it's 100% real leather, i was very attracted to the design but was reluctant to buy it at first until my friend persuaded me to try it on, she said "if it fits you it's meant to be" and there you go it was a size 6 (Australia). Been living in this for the pass month, very lightweight & comfy! only cost me $40 BEST FIND yet

bought them in Feb 2012 from h&m (Hong Kong)

it was love at first sight, they ran out of size 36 so i grabbed the first size 37 i saw. I remember telling myself , if it doesn't fit, i will do a Cinderella's stepsister and make it fit. Surprisingly,despite me being a size smaller, it fits like a glove. (probably cause of the strap holding my feet down when i walk) For such affordable price, it was worth it

SO I finally got some courage to start a blog. 

I'm not a computer-social-network person AT ALL. I don't have twitter/ instagram/ pineinterest etc. But I've decided to give myself a couple of months to see how this blog thing turns out?

the idea of putting a personal thought online & sharing with others is quite scary. 

Had my eye on this dorothy perkins pastel necklace for a long long time. So going to wear it with a casual white tee during the day/to university. 

Been obsessed with this current elliott dolphin shorts for quite a while. This is sold on ShopBop.com and I also found look-a-like & more affordable version on Sheinside.com. Thumbs up! 

I should totally be buying more jackets & jumpers instead shorts and accessories, What's wrong with me? #random thought of the day# seriously it's been way too cold here in Melbourne, I refuse to get out of my house. Bring on SUMMER 2012
